tuesday text

Thought to share: Who are you? Only I know. Because I AM the One who formed the intricate parts of you in your mother’s womb, I know every molecule of your being. I know what you were created for. I know your purpose. I know what gives your life meaning. I understand you, better than you will ever understand yourself. Don’t look for your purpose anywhere else. Find your identity in ME. I AM the only One who really knows who you are.

Psalm 139:13-16 (NLT) You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.

Romans 8:26-28 (The Message) Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.

  1. Thanks Kim for the reminder. So reassuring knowing that Abba Father, Almighty God is who formed me and knows me inside out, before, now, and in the future. Psalm 139 is really a ‘go to’ psalm for me and I wish I could say that I camp there! But NO! Every so often this silly girl takes her eyes off Abba and then I become frantic. But God is so faithful to bring me to my senses. THANK YOU LORD!
