Thought to share: Choose your words carefully. Speak life. Choose to call out the gold in others. Draw attention to their strengths. Put a spotlight on what they do well. Choose to look at their good qualities. Words that encourage and support bring refreshing and healing. And when you speak life, you look most like ME.
Proverbs 18:21(TPT) Your words are so powerful that they will kill or give life, and the talkative person will reap the consequences.
Proverbs 12:18 (TLB) Some people like to make cutting remarks, but the words of the wise soothe and heal.
Colossians 4:6 (Msg)Be gracious in your speech. The goal is to bring out the best in others in a conversation, not put them down, not cut them out.
Ephesians 4:29 (TPT) And never let ugly or hateful words come from your mouth, but instead let your words become beautiful gifts that encourage others; do this by speaking words of grace to help them.
