Thought to share: Stop looking at what is wrong with the situation. Stop looking at the faults and shortcomings of people. I AM not asking you to live in denial, pretending that everything is perfect. I AM asking you not to make the wrong your focus. You can acknowledge the difficulty, pain, frustration, aggravation and disappointment – but don’t stay there. Give the wrong a brief glance, invite ME into that and then turn your attention to ME. Look at what I AM doing. Look at what I have given you. Look at how I have blessed you. Look at the beauty of the person, of your circumstances. It’s all there, if you choose to see it. Where you choose to focus your attention changes everything about where you are.
Philippians 4:6-8 (NLT)  Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
