Thought to share: Don’t spend your life wishing for something you don’t have. It’s a waste of your emotional energy, it exhausts your mind and leads to dissatisfaction and depression. It also prevents you from seeing the beauty of what you do have. Instead, choose to appreciate what you have. See the wonder of what’s currently in your hands. See the blessing in the complexities and challenges. Be thankful in everything, for everything. If you’ll do this, you’ll be able to see ME clearly, your perspective will shift and your heart will be full.
Philippians 4:11-13 (TPT) I’m not telling you this because I’m in need, for I have learned to be satisfied in any circumstance. I know what it means to lack, and I know what it means to experience overwhelming abundance. For I’m trained in the secret of overcoming all things, whether in fullness or in hunger. And I find that the strength of Christ’s explosive power infuses me to conquer every difficulty.
Ephesians 5:20 (NLT) And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1Thessalonians 5:18 (NLT) Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
