tuesday text v1 3000x1704

Thought to share: When you experience difficult seasons, get sad news, hear something that’s disturbing or step into a  painful situation, don’t process it all by yourself. Alone, you can easily slip into despair, discouragement and depression. Alone, you can easily panic and attempt to “fix” the situation on your own terms. However, if you’ll process through these situations with ME, I will lead your through like a tour guide. I will show you where I AM in each phase of the process. I will show you MY goodness in every detail. I will point out MY promises and highlight the fulfillment. I will flood you with MY peace and give you hope. So, the moment you experience anything negative, invite ME in and together we will sort through it.

Isaiah 43:1-5 (Msg) But now, God’s Message, the God who made you in the first place, Jacob, the One who got you started, Israel: Don’t be afraid, I’ve redeemed you.  I’ve called your name. You’re Mine. When you’re in over your head, I’ll be there with you. When you’re in rough waters, you will not go down. When you’re between a rock and a hard place,  it won’t be a dead end— Because I am God, your personal God, The Holy of Israel, your Savior. I paid a huge price for you: all of Egypt, with rich Cush and Seba thrown in! That’s how much you mean to Me! That’s how much I love you! I’d sell off the whole world to get you back, trade the creation just for you. So don’t be afraid: I’m with you.

Isaiah 30:21 (NASB) Your ears will hear a word behind you, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left.

Romans 15:13 (TPT) Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in Him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with His super-abundance until you radiate with hope!

  1. Thanks for the reminder, Kim. I can sometimes be guilty of reacting first, talking to Abba second when negative situations surface.
