Thought to share: don’t let anything take your focus. Whatever you’re focusing on becomes the center of your world. As the center, it becomes the driving force; influencing your emotions, determining your decisions, navigating your life. If you will make ME the center of your focus, if you allow ME to be your preeminent thought, then I’ll become the center of your world. And as your center, I become the driving force of your life – leading you into green pastures, beside still waters where you find rest for your soul.
Psalm 23 (NLT) The LORD is my shepherd;
I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; He leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to His name. Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for You are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil.
